Ministry of Corporate Affairs, India has decided a mandate for certain class of companies to file balance sheets and profit and loss account for the year 2010-11 onwards by using XBRL taxonomy. XBRL add-on helps to convert Financial Statements, note of Accounts, Auditors report, Directors reports; etc prepared in MS Excel to XBRL format. It offers cost savings, greater efficiency and improved accuracy and reliability to all those involved in supplying or using financial data. XBRL Add-on transfer the financial statements like Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, Notes to Accounts, Director’s Report and Auditor’s Report into XBRL format as per MCA mandate.
